If you practise yoga for at least one year, you can join an Advanced Yoga Teacher Training.
An Advanced Yoga Teacher Training is also known as 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in
India.
A 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in India consists of a foundational 200 Hour Yoga Training
and an Advanced 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training.
This program was developed by Yoga Alliance to provide the best possible education within a
short period of time. An Advanced Yoga Teacher Training usually takes place for eight
weeks. It’s a highly intensive program that covers all areas of yoga practice, theory and
teaching methodology.
After completing a 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in India, you can register as RYT 500
(Registered Yoga Alliance Trainer) to obtain a career worldwide.

A Master of Yoga
A 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in India offers a professional „master“ yoga teacher
certification.
This is the first step to becoming a true Master of Yoga.
In India, a true Master of Yoga or Swami does not present himself as such. He is announced
as such by his Guru. A Master of Yoga stands for someone „self-realized“ who affects
aspiring yogis positively by his behavior, understanding, and speech. He leaves an impact on
each individual nearby him and attracts people from all parts of the world.
If you aspire to become a Master of Yoga, you must unfold the various layers of your being
and nurture the divinity within yourself.
An Advanced Yoga Teacher Training will help you to build up practical experience and
knowledge in yoga. You will dive into a journey of self-discovery, personal growth, and
universal healing.
