As you prepare for your journey to India and your 200, 300 or 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with us, some questions may arise.

Here, we answer the most common questions for you:

What do I pack?

Generally we can say that you should always bring:

  • Flip flops
  • Sport shoes (or any shoes you can walk in)
  • Comfortable, light clothes that cover your shoulders and knees
  • Toiletries
  • Phone & Charger
  • Sun Glasses

We provide bed linen, pillows, blankets and towels for you.

You can also use our laundry services on site.

Between November and February:

Please bring some warmer clothes, long sleeves, a scarf , jacket and socks. For women with long hair, a hair dryer may be useful.

Between March and September:

It is good to pack light clothes as it will be very warm. Don’t forget sun creme, sun hat and mosquito spray.

Most items you can buy in Rishikesh as well so you don’t need to overpack!

And, Rishikesh is a great place for shopping, Indian spices, fabrics, jewellery and souvenirs.

So leave some space in your bag!

Monsoon is between July and August

During monsoon season, we recommend to bring an umbrella and enough clothes to change.

Do I need a visa?

Yes, you need a visa! The visa category is called Tourist Visa. If you are from the States you can apply for a 10 year visa. In most other countries, you can apply for a 6 month or 1 year Tourist visa. Applications can be submitted via Visa Service Centres in your City or via Internet. Most of the E-Visas last only 30 days, which can be too little if you decide to travel more after your Yoga Teacher Training.
